Accounts Assistant

Warrington Office-Based Role 
Mon-Fri 09:00-14:30 (27.5hrs)

Reports to: Finance Manager

Job Description:

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the finance function in our Warrington office. The role focuses on sales ledger, credit control, and general accounting support within a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily sales invoicing for both GBP & EUR customers
  • Reconciling customer accounts and ensure balances are accurate
  • Administration of invoice discounting facilities
  • Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliation
  • Credit Control, including proactive management of aged debt
  • Monitoring and managing customer credit limits to minimise non-payment risk
  • Reviewing credit limits regularly and recommending changes where appropriate
  • Weekly debtor meeting reviews
  • Cost of sales analysis and reporting
  • Monthly sales analysis reports
  • Monthly journal posting
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide holiday cover for the finance team – covering purchase ledger duties
  • Assist with other accounting duties as required
  • Assisting with annual stock take administration
  • Assisting with audit requests

Key Skills

  • Excellent Excel skills with strong attention to detail
  • Minimum of 4 years sales ledger and credit control
  • Working knowledge of CIS
  • Sage 50 Accounts experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a faced paced environment
  • Confident and professional when chasing debt and liaising with customers
  • Strong numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage workload effectively
  • Confident in using multiple bespoke software systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Awareness of confidentiality requirements and data sensitivity

Qualifications Required

  • AAT qualification
  • Advanced Excel skills

Procurement Administrator

Location (Irlam, M44)

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Job Description:

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organised Administrator to join our procurement team within a busy industrial door company. This is a hands-on role at the centre of daily operations, supporting both procurement and manufacturing functions to ensure everything runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ordering parts and managing supplier relationships
  • Monitoring and maintaining stock levels
  • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Supporting the manufacturing team with scheduling and planning
  • Managing emails and maintaining accurate records using Excel and Simpro

Requirements

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, dependable, and confident in chasing suppliers when required
  • Comfortable using Excel; experience with Simpro is advantageous (training can be provided)
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role

Aluminium Fabricator

Location (Irlam, M44)

Pay: £14.00 - £20.00 per hour

Job Description:

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Aluminium Door Fabricator to join our busy workshop in Manchester (M44).

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the manufacture and assembly of aluminium doors and windows, with great attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble aluminium doors, windows, and curtain wall systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Operate fabrication machinery (e.g. saws, routers)
  • Carry out quality checks on finished products
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in aluminium fabrication (doors/windows)
  • Strong knowledge of aluminium systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
