Customer Account Administrator

Location: Irlam M44 5PN

Company: ABC Industrial Door Ltd

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Customer Account Administrator to join our team in Irlam. Our Customer Account Administrators are a main point of contact for day-to-day operational matters, ensuring customers are kept up to date on engineer’s attendance, service sheets, works reports, repair quotations, etc…

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, including breakdowns, service requests, quotations, and contract queries.
  • Prepare and issue quotations for repairs, spare parts, and system upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, service logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Process and issue quotations for repairs, parts, or upgrades.
  • Raise purchase orders and process supplier/customer invoices.
  • Manage and monitor shared inboxes to ensure timely responses.
  • Provide administrative support to the Planning Team, ensuring smooth scheduling and coordination.
  • Cover out of hour call out service (around 1 in 7).

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Confident using service management systems (e.g., Verisae, simPRO)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Team player with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
