Teckentrup UK Ltd and ABC Doors Ltd are committed to taking care of health and safety, operating safely, and complying with its legal duty under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and other applicable legislation such as working on Railways. We believe that a safe and healthy workplace, that also minimises our environmental impacts, is a better place for our employees, contractors, visitors our customers of our business. High standards of health and safety are an integral part of our company’s vision, values and strategic direction.

We expect the highest standards of behaviour for protecting our own and others health and safety. We take personal and collective responsibility, along with our suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to:

• Identifying hazards in the workplace, assessing the risks related to them and implementing appropriate preventative and protective measures,
• Operate safely in all our business activities and operations by establishing and enforcing safe methods of work,
• Prevent accidents and work-related ill health. All injuries, however small, sustained at work must be reported to the area Manager.
• Ensuring that tasks given to employees are within their skills, knowledge and ability to perform,
• Developing a health & safety culture through consultation and participation with our people, creating a working environment that supports employee wellbeing, with an aspiration towards zero work related ill health, accidents or harm to people.

To achieve these aims and demonstrate that safety is our highest priority, we have implemented a documented health & safety management system that will be measured by our health & safety performance. Senior leadership will review the management system on a regular basis, who will agree objectives for the health & safety performance.

This Policy is applicable to all persons working for or on behalf of the company.
