Using the new 85 millimetre wide cover plate, the CarTeck door fits into almost any opening, even without a bottom buffer: The cover plates span gaps of up to 30 millimetres in width. This often allows the use of cost-efficient standard-sized doors. And to ensure an adequate level of comfort, an automatic drive with handy remote control is usually included in the garage door package.
Especially thick double-walled doors allow less cold in and less warmth out. They improve thermal insulation – an aspect that is particularly valuable in the case of garages that are directly connected to the house.
