Teckentrup UK Limited, based in Warrington, has acquired ABC Industrial Doors Limited, one of the leading Industrial door specialists in the country, with its head office in Irlam, Manchester.

The two companies have strong synergies and leveraging opportunities from the alliance will allow both companies to accelerate their growth plans.

Teckentrup has and outstanding product portfolio of commercial and industrial doors and a high-level capability to deliver complex specification projects in infrastructure, energy, data and major construction projects, exemplified with its recent work on the Elizabeth Line.

ABC has aligned products and a core strength in providing installation, service, repair and planned maintenance, nationwide for commercial and industrial doors on a 24-7 basis. ABC has a roster of household-name clients including FedEx, Travis Perkins, KFC and many more. 

From that brief summary, the opportunity for a combined strength that exceeds the sum of the parts is clear and was the driving force behind the acquisition. The intention is to take the best from both and improve the overall performance of each company.
