The left shutter is a ThermoTeck from Teckentrup, the right shutter from a competitor. Both shutters were installed at the same time and have had exactly the same frequency of use.
The difference is obvious…
Roll-up doors are "all pretty" after installation. Depending on the frequency of use, roller shutters can show signs of abrasion over time. "Ugly" comes after weeks or months.
Knowing how abrasion occurs and designing to mitigate its occurrence is something Teckentrup understands. As you can see, Teckentrup masters this better than others!
