The solution.

The design of our sectional doors, together with a host of options, offers flexibility allowing our doors to be adapted to meet most requirements. For seamless access/egress of vehicles into the car workshop, Teckentrup supplied three SW 40 sectional doors – distinguished by its robust construction using a 40mm thick double-walled door leaf design.

Teckentrup industrial doors incorporate decades of refinement:

Size:

  • Width, maximum 8000mm
  • Height, maximum 6000mm
  • Door leaf weight approx. 12 kg/m2

Performance:

  • Thermal insulation (25 m2 door area), Ud W/m2K 1.2*
  • High-quality steel panels, 40 mm thick.
  • Double-walled, pu insulating foam.
  • Resistance against wind loads class 3 up to 5000 mm*
  • Air permeability class 3.
  • Water penetration resistance class 2/3.
  • Noise insulation value Rw in dB 24.
  • Fire performance per EN 4102, door leaf element building material class B2.

*Without wicket door (Ud W/m2K 1.4 with)

The doors required manual operation, so each was fitted with a compact geared chain hoist 4:1 reduction, positioned to the right-hand side of each door. To gain access to the workshop on foot without opening the sizeable sectional door, the centre door features a wicket door.
