This is one of the great technical features of a CarTeck door. The answer is 115mm for the majority of doors. On very large doors the height required above the head remains at 115mm but requires 140mm above the spring trays (see the table on Technical Specification).
The benefit is that we can create a door that maximises your drive through height. Many door systems provide doors at standard heights only, that leave you with less drive through height and often a finish that has been made good with excessive uPVC cladding.
