The beast has arrived at Teckentrup - our new state-of-the-art £250k CNC machine!

After COVID-related delays at the suppliers in Italy and the new Brexit border challenges, the beast has arrived - our new state-of-the-art £250k CNC machine!

We’ll be commissioning the kit over the next two weeks, ready to bring online its capacity-doubling output! 

Steve Hilton our M.D. was heard saying, whilst nervously checking the floor plan, “it is definitely very big…” at least it made it through the factory door!

Double-quick time 

Twice the throughput is what our new CNC will give us. Spending £250k needs justification and the ability to impact lead times was a big part in our decision to invest. Higher output equals more capacity to get product to you faster – a no-brainer, if an expensive one!

Safety first 

A safer working environment is one of the features that was central to specifying our new CNC machine. Physical enclosures and guards work with light beam matrices to ensure fail-safe operation. Less manual handling and improved acoustic performance ensures a safer and improved environment for operatives and the factory team – a big win 

Quality made easy

The capability of our new CNC is impressive and so, so, precise! We can now eliminate manual processes that were beyond the capability of our old machine. Our new bit of kit can handle it all. It makes things faster with repeatable quality – what’s not to like!
